We've got a blast from the past for ya! Word on the street is that the Spice Girls are reuniting. Sources say the girl group who split all the way back in 2000 are planning a reunion show at none other than the Olympics in London. Geri Halliwell told The Daily Mirror quote, Singing at the games is a great idea and would be an amazing opportunity - and it's a sign the Brits are back. This is our time." . She added: "It needs to put itself back on the map on a world stage. This is our opportunity to show that British music, which has led and dominated the world, should do, always." Now as you know the five girls are working on doing a West End musical in London featuring Spice Girls' music. So it seems like they're all eager to get back out there—hey if can work for New Kids and Backstreet, it can work for the Spice Girls right??
