Rescue efforts are still ongoing in West Pokot following Friday night’s landslides with death toll expected to rise to over 50. The county disaster committee says 11 people are still missing since Friday and are feared dead. The rescue efforts have been hampered by bad weather. Only 29 bodies have been recovered by the recovery teams. The teams say they have also recovered body parts.
