Epic Dog Sled Rescue at Bosebuck in Maine 2018

Check out this epic dog sled rescue at Bosebuck Mountain Camps in Maine. This is not something you can plan out. You need to be ready for anything! When the dogsled flipped over while getting onto the lake, the dog team was free to run wherever, together. Not a good situation. On top of that, we needed to make sure our two female dogs stayed apart or they could end up fighting. This situation called for some James Bond-like moves. I jumped off my sled and dove onto the lines to stop the team from running. I held one female in my arms, and the other with my legs until the musher caught up to hold her. I then flagged down some friendly snowmobilers who were about to pass by to help us stretch the team back out. I wish we knew who they were to give them a shout out - special thanks to them!!!
