In Luke 17:11–19, Jesus heals ten lepers, yet only one—a Samaritan—returns to give thanks. His gratitude becomes a model of faith that not only restores the body but renews the heart. Like Naaman’s healing in 2 Kings 5 and Paul’s encouragement in 2 Timothy 2, we are called to live with thankful hearts, trusting that God’s mercy overcomes all boundaries.
