Burlsworth Trophy Ceremony - Howard Mudd Tribute

One of the greatest offensive line coaches the NFL will ever know. Howard Mudd passed away on August 12, 2020 due to injuries suffered in a tragic motorcycle accident. In 1999 Coach Mudd was looking forward to coaching incoming rookie Brandon Burlsworth before Burlsworth's untimely passing on April 28 of that year. Footage shows Mudd and Burlsworth at the teams minicamp held shortly after the 1999 NFL draft. The Burlsworth Trophy paid tribute to this original selection committee member during the virtual award ceremony held on January 4, 2021.
