SOUNDBITE: (English) Dr. Shlomo Mor-Yosef, Hadassah hospital's director: "As you all know, we started this morning to reduce the amount of anaesthetic medication to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. At the first stage, Mr. Sharon started to breathe spontaneously. Of course he's still connected to the ventilator but this is the first sign of some sort of activity of his brain, so we found it important to report it to you. We are still in the process of reducing the amount of anaesthetic medication and will come with a medical report in a few hours. Thank you very much. 4. "Mr. Sharon started to breathe spontaneously. Of course he's still connected to the ventilator but this is the first sign of some sort of activity of his brain, " Hadassah Hospital director Dr. Shlomo Mor-Yosef said.
