Can I Beat Pokemon Heart Gold with ONLY Union Cave Pokemon?

One of the first pokemon challenges to go through. It connects the first gym in violet city with falkner, and the second gym in azalea town with bugsy. Here are a lot of pokemon like onix, zubat, geodude, rattata, sandshrew and lapras. The team at the end is amazing with steelix, crobat, golem, raticate and sandslash. Is it possible to beat the Pokemon challenge in Heart Gold with only union cave pokemon? And I don't use any items in battle. So, no Full Restore or Revives while battling! Please enjoy!
