It was recorded at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield in Republic, Missouri on May 13, 1988. Art Galbraith- fiddle, Kenny and Shirley Richardson, Edna Mae Davis, Douglas County Square Dancers, Alvie Dooms- guitar, Bob Holt- fiddle, and H.K. Silvey- fiddle celebrated the Wilson's Creek Spring Social at the Ray House. Before the show started, McCann had to rid the listening area of two black snakes.
