Volvo's "first" all electric model is the new C40 Recharge, and it's also Volvo's first "coupe crossover," a segment that has been so far dominated by the German competition. Of course "all electric" is a bit tricky since the C40's platform was designed to accommodate hybrid and regular gas engines and much of the C40 is shared with the regular XC40, but.... Back to the C40. The sexier lines of the C40 mean that highway efficiency is slightly improved vs the boxier XC40, but since the drivetrain is unchanged, the C40 still has one of the slower charge rates in the luxury segment and fairly low range.
