SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 is the first gameplay video of Project Tsuki no Me. It was played by our very own gamer Niaz Rashid and edited by the infamous Super Frog Sage - Qrio. This is the first Sekiro gameplay played by Niaz so you may find some amateurish and excessive movements and we're really very sorry about that. :'( The game was played purely for fun and the joy of exploring the unknown. ---------------- Synopsis: ---------------- The story of Sekiro is a mythological one happening at the end of the Sengoku Era. The protagonist is a mysterious shinobi or ninja called wolf (Seju) who was spared and taken as a child from the cruel battlefield by wandering shinobi Owl. Since then he was trained relentlessly by his master to become a master shinobi. He was taught to never forget the shinobi code. Wolf's master told him that as his father, his words are absolute and introduced him to a new master. Wolf was given the task of protecting his new master and bringing him back if he was taken at any cost. --------------------------- About the Game: --------------------------- SEKIRO SHADOWS DIE TWICE is a third person Action Adventure game. The game is created by Dark Souls creator FromSoftware (founded in November 1986) and published by Activision (founded in 1979). Although both Sekiro and Dark Souls Series are both from the same game development company and played from the third person view, Sekiro is fundamentally different. When comparing with the Soul Series games like Dark Souls, Sekiro has less role-playing elements, doesn't have character creation or leveling up different stats and has no multiplayer elements. But the player still has the ability to upgrade his gears and skill tree. It also has limited ability customization. The combat type of this game is not your normal hack and slash but instead, it involved using a katana (Japanese Sword) to attack an enemy's pose & balance to find an opening and strike a killing blow. The player can also use stealth mode to immediately kill the enemy while going undetected. The player can use various tools to assist his combat and exploration like a grappling hook. The player can also be revived on the same spot instead of respawning on an earlier checkpoint under certain conditions. ---------------------- In This Video: ---------------------- In this video, the prologue of the game was shown and the gameplay started from Ashina Reservoir. At the start of the game, our protagonist shinobi was at the brink of collapse and lost his will to live. But suddenly he found a mysterious letter which contains the location of his lord. The letter - "Kuro's Wolf, Your destiny awaits you at the moon view tower. Escape from the well and find the tower bathed in moonlight. Even without a blade, you can reach it. Stay Silent. Stay vigilant." The player then has to reach the moon view tower and meet the shinobi's lord. After their fated reunion Wolf's master said, "You did well to come here. It's been too long wolf" Wolf replied, "I've come to free you, my lord." The young Lord then gave wolf his sword named Kusabimaru. Before giving the sword, the young lord known as the divine hair made a pledge, "My Shinobi. in accordance whit the bond of lord and retainer, you will pledge your life in my service." Wolf accepted by saying, "As you command." Kusabimaru is a katana given to wolf by his lord Kuro who is the divine heir. The sword is an heirloom of Hirata family which is a cadet branch of Ashina clan. It was thought that the sword was lost but now it's in the hands of Wolf. The name Kusabimaru implore that, "A shinobi's role is to kill, but even a shinobi must not forget mercy." It's a mantra the blade itself may manifest. Now using his new sword Kusabimaru, Wolf has to escape Ashina castle with his lord through the secret passage beneath the moat bridge that will take them out of the castle. Master swordsman lord Isshin once told Kuro about this passage. Now Kuro asked Wolf to find that passage and signal him with a reed whistle as he used to, long ago. Kuro will then join Wolf as soon as he can. After fighting multiple enemies the shinobi named Wolf finally was able to find the secret passage and signaled his young lord. In the passageway, Kuro proposed that the first thing they should do after escaping the castle is to cross the Ashina border of perhaps they can hide somewhere. Wolf simply said, "Whatever you desire." While escaping the castle they suddenly faced an armored man fully armed. He was lord Genichiro. Wolf tried to fight him but all his efforts ended in failure and the divine heir Kuro was taken away. I think that's enough of storytelling for today you can find the rest in the gameplay.
