Who's to blame for the Cowboys' last two Ls? – Kurt Warner NFL Week 11 Game Tape Breakdown

As we get ready for Thanksgiving and all the things that we’re thankful for…including three football games on Thanksgiving day! One of the staples when I was growing up on Thanksgiving was watching the Dallas cowboys play football. They were my favorite team growing up…America’s team. Being from Iowa, we didn’t have our own pro sports team, so it was all about the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys having a really really good year, although they dropped two of their last three and haven’t looked too good offensively in those two games. So I want to take a look at the Dallas Cowboys in their game last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. Everybody is asking what went wrong…what was the problem with the Dallas Cowboys? Where do we point the finger in that particular game? Well the beautiful thing about football is that it’s the ultimate team sport. It take everybody to win football games. I also often say that’s the worst thing about football, is that it’s a team sport. It’s not about one guy, it takes everybody on every given play to be successful. I looked at the Buffalo Bills a couple weeks ago and I talked about hidden yardage. Opportunities that are missed within a game. Well, the Dallas Cowboys had plenty of missed opportunities against the Chiefs and ended up losing that game by 10 points. As we look at the tape in this episode, you’ll say to yourself, could these plays have made the difference between them winning and losing? But that’s the bottom line is you have to execute. Every team is going to have a handful of plays every game where they don’t execute. The higher that number gets the less chance you have to win football games…especially against teams that are really good, like the Kansas City Chiefs.
