This 62-mile path from Hayward to Cable provides an outdoor playground for mountain bikers, fat-tire bikers, and cross-country skiers alike. In February, it holds the American Birkebeiner Ski Race, the largest ski marathon in North America! In the warmer months, the trail provides a chance to connect with nature. The natural tranquility continues into Winter Greenhouse, where Eric encounters over 2,000 plants and flowers! From vegetables and herbs to house plants and fruit trees, Winter Greenhouse has a little taste of everything. Not to mention, the atmosphere and display gardens offer a piece of tranquility. From tranquility to trophies, Eric continues his exploration of Sawyer County at the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, holding the history and heritage of freshwater fishing in North America. Eric then sets out on one last journey on the Namekagon River for a scenic canoeing trip.
