@TorontoPolice News Conference Re: Homicide #29/2018 | LiveStream | Friday, May 11th | 1pm On Friday, May 11, 2018, at 1 p.m., in the Media Gallery at Toronto Police Headquarters, Homicide Detective Leslie Dunkley will update the media on the investigation into Homicide #29/2018. Background: On Monday, May 7, 2018, at 11:55 a.m., officers received a call for a personal injury collision in the Kipling Avenue and Longfield Road area. It was determined at the scene that the man driving had sustained what were believed to be gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital. On Thursday, May 10, 2018, the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced in hospital. Homicide investigators have taken carriage of this investigation. The victim has been identified as Christopher Reid, 38, of Toronto.
