Churmundo/ Wheat flour laddu is one of the delicious, most loved & famous laddu in our amchi community. It needs only 4 ingredients and truck loads of patience to make perfect droolworthy churmundos. During my childhood days my granny used to used bura sugar (unprocessed sugar from sugarcane), but it's less common these days so powdered castor sugar is used. This is my khandani style recipe, wherein we use only rava along with wheat flour. Adding only rava prevents the wheat floyr from sticking onto your palate and also gives this laddu a different flavour and slight texture.
