Pokemon Black 2 Challenge mode 0 xp – Elite 4 Caitlin

Pokemon Black 2 Challenge mode 0 xp – Elite 4 Caitlin

I prepared my team just like I usually do for this : I choose my Pokemon to deal with the Champion first before dealing with each Elite 4 member and I found that my strategy against Caitlin was the most unreliable of the four of them so I'll deal with her first. I also have another reason for this : only one of my Pokemon will change an attack in this run and I need this move against Caitlin. I only brought four offensive Pokemon : Sawk is the same as before but got some new tricks, Bouffalant got really good moves and good defensive and speed IV (bad attack IV but it'll be enough), Roserade is a powerful special nuke and Throh is there for some fun, it's a tanky Pokemon and Sawk is needed elsewhere on the Iris fight so I need someone else to be able to defeat Hydreigon. I also brought a low level Onix and a low level Whimsicott to be support Pokemon. I could have used higher level Pokemon (Boldore, Onix and Whimsicott are available at a good level on Victory road and I got the level 42 Crustle which also got Stealth rock) but I want to ensure some quick KO on them so I went with low level ones. I didn't expect to fight Musharna this way but I'll take it ! I poisoned Onix before the Elite 4 to avoid Hypnosis and he is immune to Charge beam so Musharna pretty much can't do anything to him. But then he puts up Reflect and I don't want that at all ! My plan is to use Toxic then Stealth rock then waste two turns with Onix before switching out to Bouffalant. I can then use Swords dance on the turn where Caitlin will use her Full restore on Musharna then defeat her with Giga impact. I didn't want recoil damage from Head charge there and I needed the Silk scarf equipped so I also avoided Musharna's Hypnosis this way. She brings Reuniclus second and my plan is also to use Bouffalant here but I don't want him to take too much damage so I'll bring Whimsicott whose only duty is to use Light screen for eight turns thanks to its Light clay (got one from a wild Golurk) before going down. Bouffalant comes back out to use Swords dance then Megahorn to one shot Reuniclus. He could also use two Megahorns but this move isn't the most accurate so I only wanted to test my luck once. Metagross is also luck-based. I destroy him with a Counter from Sawk but he mustn't flinch, and Sigilyph goes down to a Dark gem-boosted Payback from Throh who survives any attack if it doesn't crit. I initially wanted to use Roserade's Petal dance against Gothitelle before going down to a Psychic and then Bouffalant could finish the fight with a Head charge but Roserade survived a Psychic thanks to Light screen and two hits from Petal dance finished Gothitelle for a pretty easy fight.
