Dubai UAE "Winter Metro Scenic Ride": Union Metro Station to EXPO 2020 Metro Station

Tnx!    • DUBAI RIDE: CAR, BUS, MRT, TRAM & MONORAIL   ■ UNION METRO STATION: It is one of the busiest stations on the Dubai Metro serving both red and green line. It is located on Union Square Deira and a short walk to Dubai Creek. It is also near to intercity bus station going to Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah. Places of interest near to it includes Al Ghurair Mall, Day To Day General Trading, Al Rigga Street and Naif district. ■ EXPO 2020 METRO STATION: It's a rapid transit station on the Route 2020 branch of the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Expo 2020. The metro station opened on 1 June 2021 as part of Route 2020, created to link central Dubai to the Expo 2020 exhibition site. The schedule has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The travel time between Rashidiya metro station at the northern terminus of the Red Line and the Expo 2020 station is reported to be 1 hour 14 minutes with a service frequency of 2 minutes and 38 seconds during peak times and a capacity of 16,000 passengers per hour in each direction. The station is located to the northeast of the Expo 2020 site, with direct access to the main entrance. It is the final station on Route 2020, although there are plans to extend the line to Al Maktoum International Airport to the south. In the meantime, a bus service operates between Expo 2020 and the airport. Free Bus Ride: The RTA said it has deployed 203 Expo Riders buses to transport visitors to the exhibition from nine stations in Dubai. Two of the bus routes will lift visitors directly from hotels near the Expo site. The three stations in Abu Dhabi city are Abu Dhabi International Airport, Abu Dhabi Main Bus Station, Marina Mall Station, and one station at Al Ain Bus Station. There are two stations in Sharjah: Al Jubail bus station and Muwaileh bus station in addition to Ras Al Khaimah bus station, Ajman bus station, and Fujairah bus station near City Centre. There will be 287 trips per day during weekdays, rising to 358 trips during the weekends (Thursday and Friday). RTA had previously designated 126 Expo Riders buses to transport visitors for free directly from nine stations directly to the Expo site. The stations are - Palm Jumeirah, Al Baraha, Al Ghubaiba, Etisalat, Global Village, International City, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Mall and Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 with 455 to 476 daily journeys. The rides will also provide commuter service between the parking area to the three Expo Gates: Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability, as well as Expo People Mover to transport visitors between the Expo Gates. Expo Riders will operate from 6.30 am and continue service for 90 minutes after the closure of Expo Gates while taxi and e-hailing services will be running around the clock. Passenger commuting service from Expo Parking Shuttle to the three Expo Gates will start at 9 am and continue for 90 minutes after the closure of Expo Gates. ■ TRAIN ROUTE: The train passes/ stops a total of 21 Metro Stations before reaching my final destination as follows in chronological order: Burjuman Metro Station, ADCB Metro Station, Max Metro Station, Emirates Towers Metro Station, Financial Centre Metro Station, Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall Metro Station, Business Bay Metro Station, Al Safa Metro Station, Umm Al Sheif Metro Station, Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, Mashreq Metro Station, Dubai Internet City Metro Station, Al Khail Metro Station, Sobha Realty Metro Station, DMCC Metro Station, Jabal Ali Metro Station, The Gardens Metro Station, Discovery Gardens Metro Station, Al Furjan Metro Station, Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station and Dubai Investment Park Metro Station. ■ MORE TRAIN RIDE VIDEOS: 1.
