Exterior, hospital STORYLINE: Seven American soldiers and three Iraqi civilians were reported wounded on Thursday in the northern city of Mosul when two roadside bombs exploded as a US convoy passed. US officials said one Humvee was destroyed and another badly damaged in the attack, which took place about 9 am (0500gmt) on the western side of the city. The attack followed a blast earlier in the day when a bomb exploded outside a hotel housing staff from American television network NBC, killing a Somali guard and injuring a Canadian sound engineer.
