Prosecuting attorney Jennifer Rausch outlines the charges against Kimberly Hignite, who has been indicted on 22 charges related to alleged sexual abuse of children at a non-registered daycare she was running out of her home. Her attorney, Sam Shamansky offered a spirited defense in the hallway outside the courtroom after the arraignment. Hignite, 51, was charged with five counts of gross sexual imposition and 17 counts of endangering children. According to the indictment, she is alleged to have engaged in sexual misconduct with children in her care between February 2011 and May 23 of this year.
