I wrote these lyrics a long time ago, and this song is solely about processing an experience that happened in mid 2022, but not anything recent. It just took me a long time to produce and finalize this song. Currently working on a more recent and sweeter/heartfelt song, and that will be out a little later :) Racing Thoughts talks about going through a break up and using social media as a toxic coping mechanism. It also talks about toxic internet culture + mental health struggles and how your mind can tell you overwhelming things that are untrue.
