The Great Depression curtailed sales of many car makes and the Lincoln was no exception. Only 2,431 Lincolns were produced this year. Lincoln's roster of coachbuilders for those semicustom bodies was reduced by the time 1934 came about. Just 159 cars with bodies by Brunn, LeBaron, Judkins, Dietrich, and willoughby were produced including just 15 of the Brunn Town Brougham. All Lincolns are now powered by a single V12 engine, an enlargement of the year old KA powerplant. because of that, prices dropped around $100 per car thanks to this cheaper to produce new engine. This KA coupe is one of only 121 made, making this an extremely rare example today. It's base price was around $ 3,258, a huge sum for that depression era. This year, Lincoln ranked 23rd in the industry standings. The Great Depression stunted yet another fine car. Thanks for viewing.
