Mike Reed plays "My Wild Irish Rose" on his Hammond Organ

"My Wild Irish Rose", my "flower" tune, was written by Chauncey Olcott in 1899, and it was my grandmother's favorite song. Consequently, I learned that one early on in my career as an organist. Grandma loved it, so Mikey played it.....simple as that. So today you get a "standard" version and a "hey let's groove" version, all for the price of a Starbuck's Mocha Frape. All because "Life is Good" at 6:30 a.m. when you feel like playing the organ. Just me and the kitties (lovely wife unit is on her way to the Cleveland Clinic to work) ..... so now I'm going to go and snooze a bit more, thank you. Have a great Wednesday. 😎🎹🎹
