Something about 3I/ATLAS has changed, and not in a subtle way. This interstellar object was already unusual before its closest approach to Earth, but what we are seeing now goes beyond simple anomaly and starts to look like a structural shift in behavior. Even as it moves farther from the Sun, even as standard physics predicts a steady decline, 3I/ATLAS is doing the opposite. New data is coming in, and instead of calming down, the object is maintaining extreme features, highly organized jets, a massive anti-tail, and chemical signatures that simply do not belong together. The deeper scientists look, the more uncomfortable the picture becomes. This is no longer just a strange visitor passing through. Something has changed, and whatever that change is, it is forcing astronomers to rethink what they thought they were observing.
