Substantial Camper’s Sandwich (1925) on Sandwiches of History

Ok, today’s sandwich, the “Substantial Camper’s Sandwich,” is from one of the oddest sounding cookbooks I’ve come across (and if you sent this to me lmk!). It’s “Ye Kirke Cookerie” of 1925. Apparently, the First United Methodist Church Women’s Union in Evanston, Illinois of apparently compiled this book. Can’t reckon if it’s supposed to be a substantial sandwich for a camper or a sandwich for a substantial camper. Either way, it doesn’t sound too bad. Subscribe, hit that bell and enjoy the good life!
