When mixed with milk, contributes to daily Protein & Calcium intake in kids & adults. Many of us are fond of chocolate drink, store bought always has excess additives, sugar & preservatives. Better to make them at home & they are so easy & simple!! Both can be served cool❄️ or hot🔥 Ingredients: makes 2 cups (250 ml cups) 🥛Kesar badam drink: 20 to 25 Almonds 1/2 litre full fat milk (2 cups) 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder or 4 cardamom pods ground 3 tbsp Unrefined sugar 2 big pinches saffron (15 strands approx) 🥛Chocolate milk: 1 cup full fat Milk 1/2 to 3/4 tsp Cocoa powder 1.5 tsp Unrefined sugar Few drops of Vanilla extract if needed(Optional) Notes: Roast Almonds till crisp. Grind it not more than 30 seconds. Almonds tend to release oil if ground continuously! That will spoil the recipe sieve the powder for kids. And elders can have the remains in their drink which tastes amazing too!! Choco milk is a very basic recipe! For kids who doesn’t drink milk without milk powders. Add cocoa powder based on taste.
