🐟 Fish Fry Recipe Ingredients: • 500 g fish slices (Rohu / Surmai / Pomfret or any firm fish) • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste • 1 teaspoon red chili powder • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder • 1 teaspoon coriander powder • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder • 1 tablespoon lemon juice • Salt to taste • 2 tablespoons rice flour or semolina (for crispiness) • Oil for shallow frying Instructions: • Wash the fish slices thoroughly and pat them dry using a kitchen towel. • In a mixing bowl, add ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a thick marinade. • Coat the fish slices evenly with the marinade. Sprinkle rice flour or semolina on both sides for extra crunch. • Let the fish marinate for at least 15–20 minutes. • Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. • Place the marinated fish slices gently into the hot oil. • Fry until golden brown and crispy from both sides, flipping carefully. • Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. • Serve hot fish fry with onion rings, lemon wedges, and green chutney. 🍛 Fish Curry Recipe Ingredients: • 500 g fish pieces • 2 tablespoons oil • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds • 1 medium onion, finely chopped • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped or pureed • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste • 1 teaspoon red chili powder • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder • 1 teaspoon coriander powder • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala • Salt to taste • 1 cup water (adjust consistency) • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish Instructions: • Clean and wash the fish pieces properly and keep aside. • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Let them crackle. • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. • Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. • Add tomatoes and cook until oil starts separating from the masala. • Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well. • Pour in water and bring the curry to a gentle boil. • Add fish pieces carefully into the curry.
