Organised Crime and Terrorism in the UK and Ireland: Threats and Convergence Prof Dr Peter Neumann and Rajan Basra launched a new report that is part of a Europe-wide project, the first of its kind to systematically explore the new links between organised crime, illicit trade and terrorism in Europe. They discuss the barriers that currently separate counter-terrorism from countering organised crime and provide an overall assessment of the threat and recommendations for action.
