La NocheBuena MISSION. Phin Mason, (Tinkerer) She's a friend and a possible love interest of Miles Morales. The two grew up together in New York, and became best friends at school. It was there that they worked together to win the "Spacebound Young Researchers Award. Rio Morales, mother of Miles, invited Phin over for Christmas dinner, keeping a secret so she could surprise Miles with his old friend. While she was waiting for Miles to open the door, Phin managed to fix the house's doorbell. Along with Ganke Lee, the four of them sat down and enjoyed Christmas dinner together in Miles' new Harlem home. Miles and Phin used this opportunity to reconnect and attempt to re-establish their friendship.
