Ring murukku is a famous rice flour snack. It is a very easy recipe and can be made quickly. The addition of powdered fried gram dhal and hot oil gives crispiness to these murukkus. Omam or ajwain is used to flavor this snack. Make sure to prepare a tight dough and rest it for 10 mins. Knead the dough again and pinch small balls out. Roll the balls into thin even strips and make rings out of it. Fry the rings on medium hot oil until they are crisp and slightly golden brown in color. It is a wonderful evening time snack with hot tea or coffee.
