Class will involve Licensed Clinical Social Worker Dennis Anderson, a state-licensed psychotherapist, providing an approximately 30-minute survey of some of the best evidence-based techniques for reducing stress, whether from the workplace, or from uncertainty about the future during the current health emergency. Class participants will learn the top layers of a few processes proven to help reduce stress and anxiety, and promote a better sense of well being, even when times such as the present are difficult. Participants will learn how to identify their stressors, and manage them through a few techniques such as Meditation, Mindfulness Practice, Breathing Techniques, Guided Imagery, and Progressive Muscle Relaxation.
