An exclusive interview with the grammy-nominated John Ford Coley! In this short, he tells about the honor of playing on pianos owned by Elton John (whom he toured with) Lucille Ball, and the Dan Fogelberg piano at The Church Studio. John Ford Coley is an American singer, guitarist, pianist, actor, and author. He may be best well known as half of the Grammy nominated duo, England Dan and John Ford Coley. They released their first big hit, “Simone,” in 1972 while contracted with A&M Records. Between then and 1980, they released four top-ten hits and two top-twenty hits, including “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight,” “It’s Sad to Belong,” and “Nights Are Forever Without You.” John Ford Coley has toured with many world-renowned artists, including Elton John. In 1999, John Ford Coley moved to Tennessee as he loved the Nashville music community. Today, he still loves performing on stages around the world as part of the growing appreciation for smooth yacht rock music.
