My name is Tatiana Watkins-Snow. I'm an 18 year old senior at West High School in Anchorage, Alaska. I enjoy getting the most I can out of my studies and internalizing the knowledge that I gain for future usage. Some of these areas include biological study and application, historical observation and analysis, and social justice. I'm interested in neurobiological development, psychiatry, and social science. My dream career is to be a psychiatric doctor with a focus in addiction and rehabilitation. I feel that as an addiction psychiatrist with a strong understanding of human culture and behavior, I can help to alleviate the struggles people dealing with alcoholism, drug addiction, and other mental health issues face when looking for accessible resources to reintegrate into communities. Accessible rehabilitation, the elimination of stigma surrounding issues of this nature, and properly educated physicians and specialists are the keys to helping as many people as possible.
