SIMPLY RED · THE AIR THAT I BREATHE REPRISE· ALBUM VERSION AUGUST 1998 FROM BLUE This is the song that started it all: The Air that I Breathe REPRISE It was summer 1999. I was at my uncles' house in Barcelona. The next day we had to get up very early for a mini-vacation to the north of Spain. That night I couldn't sleep. I turned on the radio with my headphones to listen to some music and they played this song. I fell in love. When we arrived at our destination I bought the Blue cassette and started to listen this song for a hundred times (remember, 1999, no internet as we know it now, no streaming, no nothing...) and since then I have been a fan of Simply Red. Then came Love and the Russian Winter (I love this album too), I bought the Greatest Hits, Home...until today. But this was the song that started it all. I hope you like it!!! Ramón
