As per the current trend, BJP is likely to gain two-thirds majority and set to rule EDMC, NDMC and SDMC. BJP President Amit Shah has congratulated people of Delhi and said the results have shown that voters have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Meanwhile, taking ‘responsibility for the defeat’, Delhi Congress chief Ajay Maken offered to resign from his post. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has refused to accept the loss as many top leaders have blamed EVMs for the results.
