New video on making a Gold play button.. actually looks more realistic    • Make a Gold YouTube Play Button   Ok so I made this video to show how to make a 100,000 Youtube Subscriber Button using easy to find supplies. As everyone knows when you reach 100,000 subs you are rewarded with a silver play button framed with your channel name on the front glass. Obviously I have a long… LONG way to go :) Rather than talk and explain how I’ve made this I have sped up the video into sections with some awesome music from Teknoaxe. i think its easier to watch! Materials list: For the button Air dry clay from hardware store 500g is plenty Fine grit sandpaper for before you paint primer 1 can spray primer (spray 3 coats) 1 can of silver chrome spray paint (5-7 thin coats to get smooth finish) For the frame I found a black shadow box on eBay for $15AUD Silver matte finish card for the background from a craft store. Spray adhesive to stick the silver card to the backing board of the shadow box. Glue to stick the button to the background. For the writing on the glass You can give the design to a sign writer to cut the YouTube logo and your channel name, if you ask really nicely they won't charge much.
