Monday, 2nd March 2026 Exodus 14:13 And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. For you and me to be able to see the salvation of the Lord, we must learn to still ourselves. Being still doesn't mean you sit there passively without doing anything; it means getting your heart and mind focused on what the Lord has spoken and staying with it. You must saturate your heart with the revealed and spoken Word of the Lord, which becomes the anchor of your soul (Hebrews 6:19). Hope ties us to that anchor, and because our hope is in the Word of God, it does not disappoint. Romans 4:18-21 [18] Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, "So shall your descendants be... What kept Abraham focused and moving is that he put his hope in God and His Word, even when he was biologically over and above child-bearing age. Knowing that God doesn't go back on His Word or break His covenant stabilized Abraham. Whatever the Lord has spoken will be fulfilled. The only disadvantage is if you refuse to believe what God has told you; the Lord will raise someone else to make sure that Word is fulfilled because He has sworn by Himself in *Isaiah 55:11 and Matthew 24:35*. There is no other way except the Word of God. It is the Word that anchors our souls when the storms rage. Matthew 7:24-27 Two men built houses on different foundations, one on the rock and the other on sand. Time came and the storm had to test the foundation, but the latter fell. It was the same structure, but the difference was the foundation. Similarly, whatever is not anchored on the Word of God will be swept away when the storms of life come. Therefore, the Word of God must be our foundation. Psalm 46:1-11, Proverbs 18:10 Who is your refuge? Where is your refuge? David said God is my refuge, from whom I draw my strength and a very present help. There are certain helps that are very far, but God is the only 'now' help that you have. Therefore, we must develop a consciousness of God always being with us *(Hebrews 13:5)*. What are you conscious of when trouble comes? Are you conscious of the trouble or the presence of God? The Lord God is everything we need or want, and whatever we need, He becomes it in that moment. But you have to develop a knowing of Him, and that's how He infuses in you. Matthew 14:26-31. In the above scripture, Peter was not focused on the storm. He said, "Jesus, if it is You, command me to come," and he began to walk on the stormy sea. This shows that the storm is not the hindrance to your progress. As a child of God, you can walk through a stormy season with your eyes fixed on the Lord, your ever-present Helper. What will help you to keep your eyes on God in times of trouble are the Word and praying in tongues. Take time off and pray in tongues because tongues charge up your spirit, keep you conscious of the spiritual world, and in alignment with God's will for your life. Zephaniah 3:9) Even as we seek God, do not put limits on Him because He has the full picture of our lives. That's why He can be trusted, and you can hide in Him. Don't limit Him to your understanding; you know a little, only God knows it all. Let this word stir up your heart to be still and put your hope in God. STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED.
