WWE Confirms Night Of Champions 2025 Date & Location — Surprise Appearance in Promo

Welcome to SSN24! Exciting news from the world of WWE — the company has officially announced the return of Night of Champions for 2025, and it’s heading back to Saudi Arabia! During this past weekend’s WWE Backlash Premium Live Event, WWE revealed that Night of Champions will take place on June 28, 2025, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This marks WWE’s first PLE in the Middle East for 2025. The last event in Saudi Arabia was Crown Jewel back in November 2024. This announcement continues WWE’s growing presence in the region. Night of Champions was reintroduced in 2023 after an eight-year hiatus, and interestingly, that event was also held in Saudi Arabia. The teaser video aired during Backlash sparked even more buzz — featuring major superstars like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Bianca Belair. But the most surprising appearance? CM Punk. Despite past controversies surrounding Saudi Arabia events, Punk was briefly shown in the video, raising questions about his possible involvement. Adding to the excitement, Saudi Arabia is also set to host the Royal Rumble next year for the first time ever, making it the first time the iconic match will be held outside North America. Night of Champions will be WWE’s second main roster PLE in June 2025, with Money in the Bank scheduled earlier on June 7 in California. WWE fans are in for a packed few weeks, with Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, followed by NXT’s Battleground on May 25. Then comes a major crossover, as NXT and AAA team up for Worlds Collide, airing the same night as Money in the Bank. WWE’s global expansion continues, and the Road to Night of Champions looks more thrilling than ever!
