NEW UPDATE! CONFUSING BANNER LINEUP IN VERSION 5.7 - Genshin Impact

First off, both leaks actually agree on two things: Skirk and Mavuika are coming in 5.7. No matter which leak you follow, these two are basically locked in. Skirk is already in the 5.7 beta—her animations, her skill set, everything’s being tested right now. So there’s no debate. She’s coming. Period. As for Mavuika, things are a little more based on pattern, but still highly likely. Think about it: every Archon in the past has gotten their first rerun three patches after release. Nahida debuted in 3.2, rerun in 3 point 5. Raiden, Released in 2.1, rerun in 2.5. Mavuika dropped in 5.4 which puts her rerun right on track for 5.7. Plus, with the Archon Quest wrapping up in this patch, it makes perfect narrative sense to bring her back now. So yeah—if you haven’t been prepping for her rerun good luck. This one was expected for a while now. The first lineup comes from Firefly, and honestly, it’s got everyone freaking out. According to this version, we’re getting Skirk and Citlali in Phase One, followed by Mavuika and Yelan in Phase Two. Just take a second to imagine that. Four incredibly strong five-star characters packed into one patch. Skirk, Citlali, Mavuika, and Yelan?! That’s the kind of banner that actually hurts to skip, even if you already own half of them. It’s that strong. Citlali, for example, is a new Cryo Catalyst support from Natlan, with a super unique kit. She applies Cryo off-field, enabling setups like Freeze, Superconduct, or even Melt depending on your comp. Then there’s Yelan. One of the best sub-DPS characters in the entire game. Her Burst gives you constant Hydro application, her skill scales with max HP, and she buffs the whole party’s damage. It doesn’t matter who your main DPS is—Raiden, Hu Tao, even Skirk—Yelan fits like a glove. So yeah, Firefly’s version sounds amazing… but maybe it’s a little too amazing. Now let’s shift to the other leak, the one from HomDGCat—and this one paints a much more believable picture. In this version, we’ve got Skirk and Emily in Phase One, followed by Mavuika and Shenhe in Phase Two. And honestly? This makes way more sense. Emily is a five-star Dendro polearm character introduced back in Version 4.8. Her kit focuses on the Burning reaction—one of the few characters who can truly make it shine. She hasn’t had a rerun yet, so bringing her back in 5.7 feels like a logical move. Then there’s Shenhe. A Cryo polearm support who buffs Cryo damage, reduces enemy resistance, and is basically a must-have for any serious Freeze or Melt comp. And now that Skirk—a new Cryo main DPS—is entering the game? Shenhe fits perfectly. Sure, Shenhe was just featured in the Liyue Chronicled Wish but Hoyoverse has doubled up characters before when the synergy is strong enough. So while this version of the banner isn’t as flashy, it checks all the right boxes. No weird rerun timing. Every character has a clear purpose. And it makes total sense from both a gameplay and marketing standpoint. If you’re trying to plan your Primogem budget, this is the version I’d recommend using as your baseline. Skirk is confirmed, Mavuika fits the Archon rerun schedule perfectly, and Emily and Shenhe are logical rerun candidates.
