Total War: Rome II - Hannibal At The Gates Battle Of Cannae Legendary Very Close Defeat Gameplay

This is my second try on legendary. The 3rd try I won finally!!! and will be uploading soon (haven't uploaded yet because I think of adding commentary so I show all you guys my strategy so you can try and win it for yourself too). Even in this battle I was very very close to win it but on legendary as you already know the enemy morale is sky high and they never surrender even if they are surrounded or outnumbered such as 200 my units vs 30 hastati they still won't route. History about Cannae Battle: The Battle of Cannae (/ˈkæni/ or /ˈkæneɪ/), a major battle of the Second Punic War, took place on 2 August 216 BC in Apulia in southeast Italy. The army of Carthage under Hannibal decisively defeated a larger army of the Roman Republic under the consuls Lucius Aemilius Paullus and Gaius Terentius Varro. It is regarded as one of the greatest tactical feats in military history and has been regarded as the worst defeat in Roman history. Having recovered from their losses at Trebia (218 BC) and Lake Trasimene (217 BC), the Romans decided to engage Hannibal at Cannae, with roughly 86,000 Roman and allied troops. The Romans massed their heavy infantry in a deeper formation than usual while Hannibal utilized the double-envelopment tactic. This was so successful that the Roman army was effectively destroyed as a fighting force.
