For the Church, that we will bear witness to God’s love by serving one another, particularly those in need. We pray to the Lord. For all leaders in the Christian community, that God will guide them toward fuller discipleship through self-sacrificing service in their lives and ministry. We pray to the Lord. For St. Patrick School as it celebrates its 150th year of service to our community, that it will continue to show forth God’s love and wisdom through the faith-filled education it provides. We pray to the Lord. For the poor and powerless in our society, that we will hear their voices, strive to better understand their suffering, and humbly walk beside them through life's challenges. We pray to the Lord. For the unemployed and those facing evictions, that God will guide them to the resources they need, help them to maintain their housing and family life, and open new opportunities for them to use their talents. We pray to the Lord. For all who are ill, especially Fr. Chris Barkhausen (who served at St. Patrick several years ago), Charles Zogby, Kerry Rohe, Mike Squillante, those afflicted by the coronavirus, and all who are remembered in our parish bulletin, that God will bring them hope and give strength to those who care for them. We pray to the Lord. For family, friends, and parishioners who have died, especially Don Witmer (father of Colin Witmer), Eleanor Polini, (mother of Patti Crane), Deacon Stephen P. Natafalusy, the victims of the coronavirus, and for 5:00 pm Louise Gisoldi, and Jay Stewart, 7:30 am Rosemary Maydick, 9:30 am Helen Moran, and Betty Bederlala, 11:30 am William “Tut” Weichert, and Arthur George Williams, 5:00 pm Maura Shaffer, and Nancy Brigham, whom we remember at this Mass, that they will share in the fullness of eternal life. We pray to the Lord. ========================================== Announcements: Announcements: September 4/5, 2021 Announcements at end of mass: 1: Next Sunday the 10:00 a.m. mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. outdoors at the Washington Avenue School Field followed by the annual parish picnic.
