The instant pot makes cooking red kidney beans as easy as can be! There is no need to soak the beans overnight. Plus, they come out WAY BETTER than canned beans. Ingredients: 1 - 14-16oz Bag of Red Kidney Beans 3 Bay leaves 1-2 tbsp minced garlic 1/2 white onion, diced 1-2 tbsp garlic powder 1-2 tbsp onion powder 1-2 tbsp cumin Salt and pepper to taste 6 cups of water or broth Instructions 1. Saute onion and garlic until translucent - 3-4 minutes 2. Rinse the red kidney beans 3. Put the kidney beans in the pot 4. Add spices 5. Add water & stir 6. Cook on high pressure for 55 minutes 7. Allow for a 15-minute natural release 8. Open, taste, and adjust seasoning if nessacary 9. ENJOY!
