COVID-19: Pfizer says trial shows vaccine is 100% effective in protecting kids 12-15

Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE on Wednesday said their COVID-19 vaccine was safe and effective and produced a robust antibody response in 12 to 15-year-olds, following a trial of 2,260 adolescents. There were 18 cases of COVID-19 in the group that got a placebo shot and none in the group that got the vaccine, resulting in 100 per cent efficacy in preventing the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, they said.
