4WD Beach Trip Preparation | How to Protect your Four Wheel Drive from Salt, Sand and Rust

In this video I document how I prepare, protect, and detail my four wheel drive (4WD) before I head out for a beach 4WD trip. This is much more involved than a "normal" camping or outback trip preparation clean because of the highly corrosive environment that the salt spray from the beach presents. As everyone knows salt equals corrosion and rust, the better protected your 4WD is, the longer your vehicle will last. The Toyota Landcruiser is an expensive 4WD and with a little effort you can insure your vehicle provides you with years of service. Of course when you return from your 4WD beach trip you will have a lot of salt and sand cleanup to contend with.
