🎸Steve Costello sings and plays his own style rendition of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" Take 1, a song by Buddy Guy in 1969, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, with Cosmo providing great background. This take was inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan's rendition. 🎸The mix and balance of this take, "Mary Had A Little Lamb" Take 1, is very good. The guitar in this take has slight fuzz sound evident when the guitar supports the vocal verses. 🎸Steve's guitar playing is his own style, but is influenced by and similar to Jimi's style (along, of course, with other artists influence) playing improvised riffs, various chords, bass lines, scales, open strings and a lot of feedback producing unique guitar sounds. Cosmo provides an excellent background with his Yamaha keyboard. 🎸Steve's main influence is coming from Stevie Ray Vaughan's studio version, plus from live audience tapes of Stevie Ray Vaughan (SRV) where "Mary Had A Little Lamb" was performed. Audience tapes have a unique purity, for what they lack in sound quality, they make up for with clean impressions, with no sub audio overdubs. 🎸"Mary Had A Little Lamb" - recording stats: "Mary Had A Little Lamb" Take 1 Steve Costello: Guitar Cosmo Fasciano: Keyboard & Yamaha Arranger. I have many of these recordings, along with my own recordings, and these are the recordings which I am now remastering with Audacity, and putting these songs up on this channel. There are many tapes, and some have been re-mastered, and there are still many more to do - it's really a lot of work, but the end result is well worth it, as there is much stress dealing with analog issues such as matching various tape speeds and pitch, an occasional tape that gets "eaten " and the hassle of repairing it, and tape deck trim pots oxidizing. Enjoy! #buddyguy #srv
