The University of Northern Iowa men's basketball team scored an 86-52 home-opening victory over the Coe College Kohawks on Monday in the McLeod Center. UNI (1-1 overall) received a career-high scoring effort from senior forward Chip Rank. Rank posted 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor in only 13 minutes of action. Junior forward Marvin Singleton corralled a career-high 13 rebounds off the bench. UNI's bench outscored Coe, 57-21. UNI will travel to George Mason on Saturday for a 3 p.m. (CT) tip.
