Recipe Details: Ingredients: Brisket - 3 to 4 lbs. Rub: 1 tbsp brown sugar 2 tsp paprika powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder 3/4 tsp mustard powder 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp black pepper Sauce: 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1 1/2 cups ketchup + bbq sauce (I like 3/4 cup each) 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 tsp EACH black pepper, onion powder, mustard powder 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Method: Mix the rub together in a ziplock bad and massage it into the brisket. Let it rest for a half hour at least. Then mix the sauce in the slow cooker, add the brisket in fat side down. Cook on low for8-10 hours. Then take the brisket out and roast at 400F for 10 minutes, while it's roasting pour the sauce into a pot and cook on medium until it boils and reduces.
