Ronettes - "Sleigh Ride" (UK London) 1963

Written by Leroy Anderson and Mitchell Parish. Arranged by Jack Nitzsche and produced by Phil Spector. Probably as big a Christmas album as any out there. Certainly in the field of rock and roll. The US title was “A Christmas Gift To You From Philles” with the “From Philles” part being dropped from the UK title. It has been re-issued a number of times on different labels. The Ronettes had a very successful year in 1963, scoring hits with the classics, “Be My Baby”, “Baby I Love You.”
