Planting Up Annuals & Leaving || Alocasia | Caladium | Begonia | Impatiens

Finally planting up my front yard with hundreds of annuals! Along my driveway I used a dozen or pink Dragon Wing Begonias to line my garden with a couple of Elephant ear Giant Taro Alocasia divisions to add some contrast. I used divisions from my Alocasia macrorrhizos 'Lutea' to do this. They are so easy to divide and propagate! After amending the soil these plants should take off and do great here! Next I planted up tons of impatiens and discussed impatiens reseeding. I've left the impatien seedlings for now just to see what they do. My last gardening dillema was what to do with all of my caladium plant bulbs since the tree I normally plant them under died. I decided to temporarily underplant one of my palm trees with the bulbs for now. Doing this allows them some time to get growing instead of just sitting in their bags full of dirt. I planted them very shallow to make them easier to pull for transplanting which I will be doing in the near future. Lastly I moved all of my plants off of my patio and got my drip irrigation set up to keep everything watered while I leave for a nice long vacation which is going to be full of plants, gardens and plant shopping! Wouldn't be a vacation without shopping for plants! ⬇️⭐⭐⭐⬇️Social Media⬇️⭐⭐⭐⬇️ 🍃Stay up to date with daily life and activities through messaging and pictures and don't forget to subscribe and hit the notification bell!
