Vista Points are a type of Collectable. You need at least one of them for the trophy “Recovered 5 Different Collectables”. They are holograms from the past that you must line up with the environment to recreate what the world looked like in the past. You must stand in a very specific spot and look at a certain location. For completing all of them you also unlock an audio log from Elisabet Sobeck and some rare crafting materials. Scan the Vista Point Towers to see the outlines of a hologram that you must line up with the environment. Then go to the exact spot, as shown here in the guide, and press :R3: to line up the hologram with the world. None of the Vista Points are missable. You can still find all of them after the story in free-roam. The 9th Vista Point only spawns after finding the first 8.
