China Launches Shenzhou 15 To Tiangong Space Station

Reaching For The Moon has posted a new video titled “China Launches Shenzhou 15 To Tiangong Space Station”. China made another successful launch to their Tiangong Space Station. In April 2021, China began construction of its three-module space station with the launch of the Tianhe Core Module. The Tianhe contains the main living quarters for Taikonauts. The Tianhe also contains the docking ports for other modules to attach and form the Tiangong Space Station. This past summer, China launched the two laboratory modules, Wentian Module and Mengtian Module which are now attached to the Tianhe and created the first phase of the Tiangong Space Station. Both of these Modules are designed to host scientific experiments. A Long March 2F Y-15 rocket, carrying the Shenzhou-15 spacecraft, with three Taikonauts on board blasted off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China on November 29.
