Millet Masala poori😋 #easypeasy #brakfastideas #glutenfree #travelfood For dairy-free version replace milk with water Ingredients 2 cups Sorghum/Jowar flour 1 cup chickpea flour/besan 1/4 cup rice flour 1/4 cup maize flour (optional, If not adding increase sorghum flour by 1/4 cup) 1 tsp carom seeds 2 tsp cumin powder 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp Red Chilli powder Grounded paste- Green chilies (6-7) + 2 tbsp chopped coriander + 7-8 garlic cloves 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp oil Hot milk for kneading (for increasing shelf life) or Hot water for kneading in case of immediate consumption Oil for frying Recipe • Add all the ingredient in the mixing bowl. • Make a dough by adding hot milk/water to it. • The dough needs to be harder than the normal. Rest the above dough for 10 minutes. • After 10 minutes, knead again. Divide the dough into small or medium-sized balls. • Take each ball. Flatten it and spread a bit of oil on both sides. Dust some jowar flour and roll gently. • Roll this ball into a small or medium sized circle of medium thickness. Do not make too thick or thin. • Heat oil in a pan until its medium hot. Slide the rolled poori and deep fry in hot oil. • With help of a slotted spoon, gently nudge and press so that the pooris puff up. • When the oil stops sizzling, turn over and fry the other side of the pooris. • When golden, remove from the slotted spoon and drain them on kitchen paper napkins to remove excess oil.
